The Beenie Man and LA Lewiscourt battle has been put on hold until March 2. That is when the 2 entertainers will have their day in court following an altercation last year. A bench warrant that was issued in the Corporate Resident Magistrate court for Beenie Man was withdrawn, when he appeared in court earlier this week.
Beenie Man’s Lawyer Roderick Gordon tells Music News that the entertainer is looking forward to putting it all behind him:

Beenie Man, and his co-accused selector Rolexx, were arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and assault at common law, following a heated dispute at the funeral service of Voicemail member O’niel Edwards.
It is alleged that, on June 5, after the funeral service, LA Lewis vehicle scratched the back of Beenie Man's car, an Audi Q7 which left the entertainer very upset. It is also alleged that Lewis offered to repair the damages but Beenie Man refused, thereafter Lewis claimed he was hit in the face and a group of men surrounded him.
Beenie Man and Rolexx have both pleaded not guilty to the charges.
