A man accused of urinating in public made a brief appearance in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday and is set to return on February 9.The accused, George Smith, pleaded not guilty to the charges of breaching of the National Solid Waste Management Act and Indecent Exposure.Allegations are that the accused was seen by a police officer along Peter's Lane in downtown Kingston urinating on the sidewalk on a light pole.
The officer reportedly called out to the accused, prompting the accused to turn around facing the officer while he was still holding his penis with his left hand and while still urinating. He was subsequently detained and later charged.
