Two sisters were arrested yesterday at the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court in St Catherine when they became involved in a dispute about a man that was involved in a relationship with both of them.
The conflict was fuelled by the fact that one of the women had visited the court to register a child that she claimed belonged to the man.
"You worthless. Yu mek him breed yu afta yu know a mi man and now yu want him fi register di pickney inna him name? Yu bright," the elder sister declared to much laughter.
When the man in question, who was standing nearby, attempted to intervene, he was sent packing.
"Move and gwey. Yu breed mi den yu go fi mi sister a country and breed har too. Yu really wutliss," one of the women told him.
The man then disappeared in the crowd and the police then took away the women.
It was later revealed that the females were 19 and 18 years old, respectively. It was also said that the man who lives with one of the females and has a child with her, went to a rural part of St Catherine and fell in love with the second girl. He reportedly rented a house for her and she too became pregnant for him.
"Lawd Jeezas, dat de man a real dutty smaddy," a male bystander said. "Yu no see how di two 'pickney' resemble, dem a real family."
