THIRTY-six-year-old Ruel Jomo Nicholson, a carpenter of Back Street in Great Pond, Ocho Rios, St Ann was shot dead in his community last night.
The Ocho Rios Police reported that about 10:00 pm, Nicholson was among a group of men playing dominoes at a house when they were approached by a masked man armed with a handgun.
The man opened fire hitting him and another man. They were taken to hospital where Nicholson was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in serious condition.
Detectives at the Ocho Rios Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) are probing the murder.
