JOAN Llewellyn, the woman paralysed by a bullet from the gun of her husband who two weeks ago went on a murderous rampage in Three Hills, St Mary, has been flown to the United States for treatment.
Llewellyn left the island between Monday night and Tuesday morning, the Observer has been informed.
The woman was reportedly paralysed from the waist down, but a relative said her condition has somewhat improved.
Llewellyn was shot by her estranged husband, police Corporal Wayne Llewellyn, who also killed her mother, father, brother and daughter before turning the gun on himself.
