A 70-year-old Moore County man is accused of sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl, authorities said Wednesday.
Feliciano Gomez Hernandez, of the 200 block of Heavenwood Road in Carthage, is charged with first-degree rape of a child, taking indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery, according to the Moore County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities were notified April 20 by workers at a medical facility who discovered that the girl had been abused, deputies said.
