he woman authorities blame for the car crash that killed her 14-year-old daughter is now under arrest.
     
Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested Melissa Johnson Friday.
     
She had been released from a hospital, where she was being treated for her injuries from Saturday's crash.

Troopers said Johnson’s blood alcohol level was .244 when she wrecked her car on Overland Road in Orange County.  The legal limit is .08.
     
Her 14-year-old daughter Daquasha was killed in the crash.

"For anybody to be driving impaired obviously is an issue, but for a mother to have her children in the vehicle with her at that high of a blood alcohol level -- the troopers were just amazed they had never seen anything like this before," said Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol.

Three other children were in the car as well.

Earlier this week, a judge granted emergency custody of the three to their uncle.
     
A Department of Children and Families spokeswoman said the kids will likely stay in Florida.

"We feel for those other children because we know that their lives are going to be changed forever having to witness that," Montes said. "It's still their mom, but we have to do a job and hold her accountable and move forward with this."

Johnson has been charged with DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide, driving without a license, three counts of child neglect, and three counts of DUI with injury.
