ONE-TIME Matthews Lane don Donald Zeeks Phipps, today lost his fight in the Court of Appeal to overturn his conviction for the double murder of Rodney Farquharson and Deighton Williams in 2005.
Phipps was sentenced to life imprisonment in May 2006 and must serve a minimum of 30 years behind bars before he can be granted parole. Farquharson and Williams were shot dead on Rose Lane in West Kingston. Their bodies were then set on fire.
