Jamaicans traveling to Britain urged to be on flu alert

With a rise in flu cases in the United Kingdom, Jamaicans travelling to Britain are advised to take flu prevention precautions.
The number of flu cases in Northern Ireland has more then doubled in the past week.
H1N1, commonly known as Swine Flu, has lead to deaths in some cases.
Doctors advise that the regularly washing hands and covering noses when sneezing could save lives.

The Public Health Agency said Britons eligible for the H1N1 vaccine should see their doctor as soon as possible.
Official data show the number of cases has more than doubled from 56 to 129.
In the past month there have been 39 deaths as a result of flu infections.
Of this number, 36 were caused by Swine Flu.
The classic flu symptoms are a sudden fever, headache, muscle aches, a dry cough and sore throat.
The average duration of infection is between 10 and 14 days.
