Three men were shot, two fatally, after trying to rob a Toyota Hiace minibus in Westmoreland between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
According to the Constabulary Communication Network, in the first incident which took place at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, three men tried to rob the bus driver who is a licensed firearm holder.
One of the men reportedly pulled a gun and held up the vehicle.
The bus driver then reportedly pulled his firearm and shot and injured one of the men.

The driver then reportedly drove to the Whithorn Police Station where he turned over the gun and the would-be robber to the police.
Afterwards, the Savanna-la-Mar police received information about the two other men who fit the description of the two men who were on the bus along with the other would-be robber.
Police reports indicate that on Wednesday morning, the Savanna-la-Mar police confronted the men and they were fatally shot.
A Haskell semi-automatic pistol was reportedly seized along with a magazine containing four .5 rounds.
One of the men is still unidentified while the other has been identified as 23-year-old Omar Smith of a Ferris address in Westmoreland.
