A matter concerning a woman who was unconscious for two days after she was 'knocked out' by her ex-boyfriend was heard before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
The accused in the matter, Neish Robinson, is charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and was remanded in custody until January 14.
The complainant told the court that she had to be hospitalised and her memories were sketchy about what actually transpired on the day she was attacked by the accused.
The complainant then told the court that all she remembered was that she was walking home with her four-year-old son when the accused attacked her.

She said he knocked her in the head and "kick weh me foot" and then he thumped her in the mouth, "all me two front teeth a shake",she told the court in a broken voice.
It was also revealed in court by the complainant that after she was released from hospital, she was attacked again by the complainant.
Allegations were also made that the complainant has received death threats from the family of the accused who promised to hire a gunman "to give her gunshot".
On the other hand, Robinson's attorney denied those allegations and told the court that his client is a man of good standing.
At the same time, the complainant told the court that her son is now traumatised because he told everyone that "him mada dead," when he saw blood being expelled from her nose and head after she was attacked on the day of the incident.
