AN eight-year-old boy died after he was hit by a car on the Orange Bay main road in Hanover yesterday afternoon.
He is Alladino Mulgrave, a student of the Green Island Primary School and a resident of Orange Bay, Hanover.
According to information received from the Green Island Police, about 3:30 pm, the Toyota Corolla station wagon was being driven from Green Island along the Orange Bay main road towards Orange Bay when it hit Alladino.
He received multiple injuries and was rushed to the Noel Holmes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the motor car has since been warned for prosecution.
Police from the Green Island Traffic Department are investigating.
