The Islington police are now probing the circumstances surrounding an incident in which a fire, believed to be the work of an arsonist, yesterday destroyed a four apartment board house at Knutsfield in Islington, St. Mary.
No one was injured in the blaze, but the man who was accused is now in police custody.
Reports are that about 3:40 p.m., the owner of the house had a dispute with a family member. Shortly afterwards the dwelling was seen ablaze and the structure and its contents destroyed. The family member, who was earlier involved in the dispute with the owner of the house, was accused of starting the fire.
