The ladies were out for 'The Last Sex Symbol', the birthday bash for selector and deejay Tony Matterhorn.
Held on Sunday at Waves Beach in Portmore, there was a lot of talking and well wishes from the many selectors who passed through the event, among them the likes of Gary Chunks, Swatch International, Renaissance, Richie Feelings, Code Red, Sky Juice, Foota Hype, ZJ Chrome and more.
The beach was packed from early, as when THE STAR reached after 10 p.m., cars were lined along the outside of the venue with a line of patrons heading in.
Soon Swatch International injected a little soul music which had the females singing along to songs like Time of My Life and Simply The Best from Tina Turner.
Code Red soon followed with an early start to some of the popular songs before making way for the birthday boy Tony Matterhorn, who made his appearance alongside ZJ Chrome. Matterhorn soon had the crowd in an uproar with his sense of humour, as the now 39-year-old selector showed that he could still pull a large crowd as he said, "mi a 39 and look like 20 summen."
He soon took the time out to big up Christopher 'Dudus' Coke as he said "big up Dudus, me a 39, he's 42 this year, happy earth strong." Matterhorn and Chrome played a Bounty Killer song soon followed by a Vybz Kartel.
A female patron was later pulled on stage to receive a free give-away from Victoria Secret.
Outside of the selectors in attendance, a number of artistes also came out to wish Matterhorn well, among them Chevaughn, Junior Reid and the Bloods, I-Shawna, Raine Seville and the DASECA crew, Timberlee and Tifa.
