Prominent Dancehall entertainer, Adidja “Vybz Kartel” Palmer is once again expanding his entrepreneurial range as he plans to unveil a new line of fragrances called “OH” next month.
The OH! Fragrance line, based off Kartel’s popular catch phrase, will debut on Jamaican shelves on September 15th; accompanied by a variety of skin care products including astringents amongst other products for women & men. “It is the fragrance from Vybz Kartel called "OH,” and It’s for men and women. Also i have astringent, and skin lighteners/toners for the ladies as well. “It’s a whole line of skin care products from the Worl' Boss," Kartel explained via press release.
This will be the third different product merchandized by Kartel since the beginning of 2011. In February, “Di Teacha” announced the launching of his shoe brand called “Addis,” & also announced his intention to release t-shirts, dog tags & belt buckles based off the Kartel brand. The “Dancehall Hero” also unveiled his own brand of blue power soap called “Vybz Cake Soap,” in May across select stores in Kingston & Falmouth. Kartel’s cake soap, branded as an acne cleansing product sold off thousands of cases in its first weekend on local shelves.
