The first staging of the Music Industry Achievers Awards just went down and Dj Sunshine walked away with the award for disc jock of the year.

Sunshine was tied with Zj Liquid for the title and was the only female nominated in the category.

Upon receiving the awrd, she dedicated it to the late Cal Young, the owner of Zip and Irie Fm who passed away last year.

Dj Sunshine will be celebrating her 10th year at Irie Fm this year and is still going hard on the radio waves amidst rumours of a growing musical war between her and Cecile on the "Buss Pipe Riddim".
