The St Catherine South police have charged Germaine Morris the driver of the bus, which reportedly caused the death of a teenager a week ago.
Dead is Lennox Lloyd, 15-year-old student, of Ascot High School. Lloyd lived in Waterford in Portmore, St Catherine.
Morris was charged yesterday with causing death by dangerous driving.
The police said Morris was driving a Toyota Hiace minbus, which overturned along West Trade Way in the Portmore town centre. Lloyd, was reportedly thrown from the bus and died on the spot.
Morris, who was reportedly trying to avoid police and Transport Authority inspectors, allegedly ran away from the scene.
He, however, turned himself over to the police later where it was discovered he had 85 outstanding traffic tickets.
He is to appear in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday .
